Israel and Germany understandably had distant relations for quite a while, but they’ve steadily grown much closer over the years, through shared values, interests, and history. They have a lot of exchange and cooperation (Germany is Israel’s 2nd largest trading partner) and especially with tech/science stuff. nerrrrrrrds They probably talk about that kind of thing obsessively when they get together, to the frustration of anyone who happens to have been trapped along with them.
